Hi.
I’m Sam and my paintings are inspired by the beautiful places I’ve travelled.
Since completing a fine arts degree in Canada, I moved to London, UK where I now live with my husband and our dog. I have a little studio set up at the back of the house where I spend much of my free time.
I can only describe my style as a form of impressionism, gathering inspiration from photos I’ve taken while traveling and then transforming them using bold brush strokes and vibrant colours. My aim is never to mimic reality but rather to discover something new during the creative process.
